It’s incredibly important to be able to do your own research when it comes to taking care of your family naturally. Unfortunately, the internet can often give us conflicting information and is not always favorable to natural remedies. Having a home library is crucial!

These are a few of the books I recommend:

Prescription for Natural Cures

Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine

Prescription for Nutritional Healing

The Complete Homeopathy Handbook

The Family Guide to Homeopathy

The Homesteader’s Herbal Companion

Gentle Babies — safely using essential oils in pregnancy and with infants and children

Essential Oils Desk Reference — if you use essential oils, it’s so important to have a desk reference so that you can look up different conditions and oils. This one is specific to Young Living oils, because those are the oils I use.

I am not trained in herbalism or homeopathy, but I use all these natural wellness tools in our home daily. Because I want to do it safely, I don’t ever want to be without resources like these.

I’m not an affiliate of this membership, but I am a member of the Homestead Herbalist Membership with Amy Fewell. I highly recommend it if you are considering diving deeper into herbalism, especially when it comes to caring for your family in the current health circumstances.

If you have a particular resource that you’ve found helpful for your family, please leave it in the comments!
