In the wee hours of the morning, when your baby won’t sleep and it’s just too early to wake, He hears your prayers.
When you spend your nights going from bed to bed, caring for sick children, He hears your prayers.
When your heart is broken, mourning the loss of a friend, a job, a child, He hears your prayers.
He sees you in the moments of your day when you think no one sees you. He sees your faithful mothering, day in and day out. And it blesses Him.
Mama, your heart and your body may be weary. But we have a God who never grows weary or tired.
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.” Isaiah 40:28-29
Lean into His strength today, friend. We don’t have to carry it all, do it all, or be it all. God will carry it for us.
