One of the best tools for rhythms and routines in your homeschool is to use visual reminders or checklists. This also really helps to create independence and shift the responsibility from YOU to YOUR KIDS.

With your older kids, you can list out the work that you want them to do independently, then they can check it off as they do it.

With your younger kids, you can give visual reminders of what you’re going to do that day. They can also choose their own activities. You can pick some of the activities you want to get done or that you know are on the schedule in the morning, and you can let them choose between art, sewing, games, playdough, etc. during the afternoon.
