The Reading Response Journal grades K-2 Pack is a collection of templates designed to support children as they gain reading comprehension. Instead of handing them a blank page, these templates help guide them in responding to books they’re reading. Children can use these writing templates multiple times, using them for different books each time! You can bind them together as a journal (even printing some pages multiple times!) or print them out one at a time as needed.

In this collection, you will find pages for: Book Review, sequence of events, letter writing, and a variety of prompts to make connections in reading, summarize, respond, and demonstrate reading comprehension. It also includes two different styles of printable writing paper.

This collection is a digital download with 11 pages of writing ideas and templates, geared toward grades K-2, but could be used by a variety of ages.
