I’m not an experienced seamstress so I got a little confused with the instructions. I plunged ahead and cut out all the pattern pieces and taped them together, altering them to fit each other as needed. I used a slightly stretchy corduroy for the top and a non-stretchy cotton for the underside. I also made mine a rattlesnake by filling the last few inches of tail with buttons and sewing off to separate from the rest of the body. I thought he turned out pretty cute!
