A Polka Dot Penguin

|

My boys l.o.v.e. stuffed animals. My older two have hoarded every single stuffed animal they can find onto their beds. It’s kind of hilarious. But my two-year-old, he’s been left with one little bunny that the other boys don’t want. [serious sad face, for the poor third child]

So when Virginia of Gingercake Patterns asked if I wanted to sew up one of her patterns for her Holiday Gift series, I knew exactly what my little guy would be getting for Christmas.
annies penguinThe most adorable little penguin you ever did see. Seriously, this penguin is ca-uuuute!

The pattern calls for flannels, and it makes this penguin pillow ridiculously cozy. I can’t wait for him to snuggle it! Those little feet? I mean, come ON! photo DSC_0844_zpsbb657a1a.jpg

Y’all know I like when a pattern is a fast sew. And this one is super fast. One nap time, including picking out the fabrics and cutting out the pattern pieces incorrectly… twice. [only because I didn’t read the pattern instructions correctly. woops!] The pattern was really easy to follow, and I just love how it turned out!DSC_0850

Gingercake Patterns has a great selection of patterns: so many other adorable stuffies, lunch sacks, duffles… you definitely need to head over and check it out. And click over to her blog to see all the other lovelies that have been sewn up for the series too!

Disclosure: I received this pattern in exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own.
