Reading and studying the Bible together is a really important part of our family and homeschool rhythm. We nearly always begin our homeschool days with our Bible time together, so these resources are perfect to use for Morning Time. We’ve used a lot of different books, but these are our favorite family Bible time resources to use.

Our Favorite Family Bible Time Resources
Of course, you should always start with a Bible. My kids each have their own Bible, and we read together from different versions of the Bible. I don’t want to always rely on external resources, so I do try to read directly from the Bible everyday. But other resources can be super helpful!
We do a lot of journaling in our family Bible time too. We do copy work (where they copy verses into a journal or using the page from the Morning Work packet) and create art alongside the verses. Sometimes I give a prompt, but usually I don’t put a lot of guidelines around this. I want this to be their expression back to the Father, a reflection of what they understand about His character and who they are in Him.
Faith Focused Picture Books
The books in the Tales that Tell the Truth series are some of my picture books from a biblical worldview. There are quite a few of them!
