I Will Make: Because She’s Worth it!

When Andrea from The Train to Crazy and Go To Patterns emailed me about an exciting idea she had, I could not wait to get involved. Andrea has joined up with a group [ShesWorthitCampaign.com] that is raising money to fight the horrific battle against human trafficking and slavery.

500,000 chidren between the ages of 5 and 15 years are forced into the sex trade every year.

This campaign focuses on girls and women who are forced into sex slavery and prostitution.

Sometimes when I think about the numbers, I get overwhelmed. And I truly wonder: what can I even do?? How can I make a difference?

Along with Andrea and other bloggers, we’re teaming up with the She’s Worth it Campaign to raise money and send handmade gifts to deliver to women and girls who are in recovery after being rescued from slavery. Bracelets and zipper pouches might be small – but they are something we can do to show them that they are loved and valued and that the Father hears their cries.
