No Bake Protein Bar Recipe
Finding snacks that are filling and substantial enough for my five growing boys can be challenging, so anything that is low prep is a win. These no bake protein bars fit the bill: you can make them in the same dish you keep them in, no cooking involved, very filling, and lots of good proteins!

These are very simple, and you can easily alter the recipe to fit your needs.
Ingredients :
- 1 cup rolled oats
- Generous 1/2 cup nut butter (we use sun butter, because we are peanut free, but you can use any nut butter)
- 1/2 cup flax seed
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips *optional
Recipe:
- Mix dry ingredients in pan (8×8 pan works great for this recipe — I usually triple and use a 9×13 pan)
- Add wet ingredients
- Press firmly down in the pan and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.
That’s it! It’s so simple. If you find your bars aren’t sticking together well, add more nut butter.
You could also make these as balls instead of bars, but I like things to be easy, and bars are WAY easier!

Keep refrigerated. And good luck keeping them in your house long, because even though they’re filling, they’re also delicious! ;)
