With the Winter Olympics coming up soon, I’ve been searching for the best Winter Olympics books for kids of all ages. Books about the Winter Games are harder to find than books about the Summer Games, so I spent a lot of time searching. This list includes the best books that I found, so you don’t have to do the searching that I did!

Books for Teens/Adults
- Total Olympics: every obscure, hilarious, dramatic, and inspiring tale worth knowing by Jeremy Fuchs (Note: This book isn’t written for kids and does have an occasional story or commentary that may not be appropriate for all teens. I recommend reading this book aloud if you’re concerned about the content or inviting conversation with your teens about the content. Despite this, it’s a great resource, and has more information on the Winter Games than any other book I’ve found for this age group.)

- Dreams of Gold: the Nancy Kerrigan story by Wayne Coffey and Filip Bondy
- The Games: a Global History of the Olympics by David Goldblatt

- The Hard Parts: A Memoir of Courage and Triumph by Oksana Masters
